The Thompson Family and The Gillian Thompson Foundation are very pleased to acknowledge a major donation by Southern Systems, a company based in the USA to the National Library. In memory of late Chief Librarian, Gillian Thompson and on this first Anniversary since her death, the Chief Executive Officer of Southern Systems, Mr. Karl Moore handed over 16 Computer Tablets to the Gillian Thompson Young Adult Collection, during a simple ceremony on December 23rd, at the National Library.

Mr. Moore had worked for nine years with Fox News in the USA, before launching his own Information Technology (IT) Company. He told the gathering that his business is to amplify digital education and the donation is a gift from the Fox News Digital Education Department.
